Dana White says Zuffa Boxing plans to pursue every elite boxer once their promotional contracts expire, including current world champions Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney, while insisting the promotion will only negotiate with fighters who are legally available.

The UFC CEO outlined the company’s long-term recruitment strategy, saying Zuffa Boxing has no intention of attempting to lure fighters away from existing promotional agreements. White’s comments come as the promotion continues to establish itself in boxing alongside Turki Alalshikh.

“I think anything is possible,” White said when asked about Stevenson to reporters, including The Mac Life, as noted by Boxing News 24. Asked whether Haney was also a target, White said: “I want them all. When their contracts are up, and they’re legal to talk to us, we want to talk to them all.”

White also rejected suggestions that Zuffa Boxing was attempting to interfere with rival promoters. “We’re not trying to steal anybody’s fighters. We only want to talk to people that are available and can legally talk to us,” said White. His comments followed questions about a reported cease-and-desist letter involving Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn, with White reiterating that the promotion has no interest in negotiating with fighters who remain under contract.

For now, White indicated Zuffa Boxing will continue to monitor the market and wait for leading fighters to become free agents before making any formal approaches. The strategy reflects the company’s focus on signing established names once they are no longer tied to existing promotional deals.

Stevenson became the WBO light welterweight champion by defeating Teofimo Lopez in January, while Haney currently holds the WBO welterweight title and has been ordered to make a mandatory title defence against Keyshawn Davis. Both are among the high-profile fighters who could become available if their promotional situations change in the future.
