Say what you will about Sean Strickland but he certainly doesn’t seem overawed days out from his maiden UFC world title opportunity. 

The American fighter has appeared to make the most of his time in the limelight ahead of this weekend’s UFC 293 main event opposite Israel Adesanya, arguably endearing himself to the fans in Sydney, Australia with his unique brand of fight promotion. Strickland has been in typically effervescent form since arriving Down Under, even going so far as to (jokingly, we stress) ‘punch’ an Adesanya fan in the guts when he was approached, and even inviting a fan to the stage to spar him during Wednesday’s open workouts.
