Darren Till has signed a multi-fight contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), with the former UFC title challenger expected to make his debut on May 30 at BKFC 90 in Birmingham, England.
The signing was confirmed by BKFC officials on Wednesday following an initial report from Yahoo Sports, marking a significant move for the 32-year-old as he transitions from mixed martial arts to bare-knuckle competition.
Till had previously expressed reluctance about competing in the sport, saying, “Look, I’m 32, I’m half a good-looking person,” Till said, according to earlier comments in 2025. “I’m good looking, I wouldn’t like to do the bare-knuckle. Not because I’m scared of that, mate. I’ve had many fist fights. My nose is scarred from the other month, I had a fight in Liverpool on the street, which was a very unnecessary fight. That doesn’t mean I caused it, I was just in the middle of it. I’m not really too asked about bare-knuckle, but I just don’t want my face getting smashed up.”
Despite those reservations, Till confirmed his decision to join the promotion, stating, “I am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC,” Till said, according to a press release. “It’s an amazing promotion! F*ck everyone on this roster, I’m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me.”
BKFC president David Feldman indicated that a potential fight involving Till and Mike Perry had previously been under consideration, saying, “I had something in the works, and they chose to do [the Nate Diaz fight] instead, because they had the one out on it,” Feldman said, according to MMA Fighting. “They chose to do this instead. I had something really big planned, huge planned for them, and they chose to do this instead.”
Perry is scheduled to face Nate Diaz on May 16, and with multiple fights remaining on his BKFC contract, a bout between Perry and Till could still materialise following that contest.
