Former UFC fighter Darren Till has confirmed he has parted ways with Misfits Boxing and is set to announce his next move in combat sports in the coming days.

Till, 33, rose to prominence during his UFC career, recording six wins from 11 bouts and challenging for the welterweight title in 2018, before being released by the promotion in March 2023 after a run of three consecutive defeats. He subsequently moved into boxing, signing with KSI-backed Misfits, where he won all three of his fights.

Confirming the split via Instagram, Till said: “It’s time to try my hand at something else… not a lot of people wanted to fight me. It was getting really hard to get fights. So, in the next few days, I’m going to have a massive announcement, some massive news,” said Till.

He added: “I’m sure you’re all going to be excited to see what I’m going to announce. And I just want to say again thanks to Misfits, thanks to everyone involved, and I’ll probably be back there soon as well – this is not the end of it with Misfits. Peace and love,” said Till.

While Till has not confirmed his next opponent or promotion, he has been linked with a potential bout against former four-time super-middleweight champion Carl Froch, following exchanges between the pair on social media, although no fight has been officially announced.

Elsewhere, Till recently took aim at fellow former UFC fighter Nate Diaz on social media, writing: “Nate Diaz talks like he’s this world-beater in the UFC. He had one great win against Conor McGregor – apart from that, what’s he done?” he said.
