Multiple weight boxing world champi0n Amanda Serrano has publicly offered to replace Kayla Harrison and face Amanda Nunes at UFC 324 after Harrison’s injury forced the postponement of their scheduled title fight.

Kayla Harrison will not defend her UFC bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes at UFC 324 in Las Vegas next week after withdrawing due to a neck injury that required surgery, and boxing champion Amanda Serrano has offered to step in on short notice.

The UFC announced that the bout, scheduled as the co-main event at T-Mobile Arena on 24 January, has been postponed to a later date following Harrison’s withdrawal, with no official replacement confirmed.

“If UFC and Amanda Nunes are thinking of a replacement, I would love the challenge as I’m still in fight shape,” Serrano said on social media, according to Ring Magazine, adding she hoped Harrison “recovers well.”

Serrano, who holds a professional boxing record of 48-4-1 and has competed in mixed martial arts with a 2-0-1 record, has competed in both MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu and expressed respect for Nunes.

The UFC has promoted a different fight — former bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley’s bout with Song Yadong — to the co-main event slot for the January 24 card, and it remains unclear whether Serrano’s offer will lead to an official bout announcement.

Harrison won the UFC bantamweight title in June 2025 by submitting Julianna Pena, and Nunes, a former two-division champion widely regarded as one of the sport’s greatest, was set to make her Octagon return after retiring in 2023 before the fight was postponed.
